Die Bernina-Strecke der RhB führt von St. Moritz in der Schweiz nach Tirano in Italien, wobei der Bernina-Paß mit zahlreichen Kehren überwunden wird. Auf dieser gebirgigen Strecke verkehren Triebwagen nicht nur im Personenverkehr, sondern auch als Zugloks vor Güterzügen. Oft werden die Triebwagen sogar in Doppeltraktion eingesetzt. Der erste RhB-Triebwagen im LGB-Programm ist eine detailgetreue Nachbildung des Vorbilds in der Farbgebung und Beschriftung der 80er Jahre. Führerstände und Innenraum sind vorbildgetreu eingerichtet und beleuchtet. Mit zwei Motoren ist das Modell äußerst zugstark. Zusammen mit den zahlreichen RhB-Wagen im LGB-Programm bieten sich vielfältige Einsatzmöglichkeiten auf Ihrer LGB-Anlage.
Vorbild
Die Bernina-Strecke der Rhätischen Bahn führt von St. Moritz in der Schweiz nach Tirano in Italien, wobei der Bernina-Pass mit zahlreichen Kehren überwunden wird. Hier wurden die RhB-Triebwagen nicht nur im Personen-, sondern auch im Güterzugverkehr, oft sogar in Doppeltraktion, eingesetzt. Das LGB-Modell ist eine detailgetreue Nachbildung des Vorbilds in der Farbgebung und Beschriftung der 80er Jahre.
Modell
Dieses detaillierte und wetterfeste Modell ist reichhaltig ausgestattet:

Dieser Triebwagen mit der Laufnummer 34 wurde von LGB in der ersten Serie dieses Wagens
produziert; die zweite Serie hatte die Laufnummer 32.
Dieser Triebwagen der ersten Sertie entgleiste leicht - demzufolge wurde die zweite Serie mit einer weiteren Bodenplatte gegen Entgleisen nachgerüstet.

The RhB Bernina line runs from St. Moritz in Switzerland to Tirano in Italy, crossing the spectacular Bernina pass on numerous switchbacks. On this mountainous line, railcars are used not only for passenger service, but also to haul freight trains. Often you can even observe two railcars doubleheading! The first RhB railcar from LGB is a detailed replica of the prototype in the livery of the 1980s. Cabs and interiors feature prototypical detailing and lighting. The model has two Bühler motors to haul long trains up mountain grades on your layout. Together with the numerous RhB cars in the LGB program, you can recreate prototypical consists of this fascinating line.
The Prototype
The Bernina line of the Rhätische Bahn connects St. Moritz in Switzerland with Tirano in Italy, traversing the Bernina Pass with numerous curves and loops. On this line, the RhB railcars were used not only for passenger service, but also to haul freight trains, often even double-heading in front of heavy trains. The LGB model is a detailed reproduction of the prototype in the livery of the 1980s.
