Das Original, das für PIKO’s Riesenrad Pate stand, wurde 1946 gebaut und befand sich ca. 20 Jahre lang im Besitz der seit 1886 im Schaustellergewerbe tätigen Familie Michel aus Fürth/Bayern.
„Michel’s†Riesenrad im Design der 60er Jahre wird durch einen robusten Motor angetrieben, der für eine realistische Bewegung sorgt. Die Gondeln mit ihrem filigranen Gestänge wurden frei beweglich aufgehängt. Ein besonderer Effekt entsteht durch die Beleuchtung der Säulen und des großen Schriftzuges. Glühlampen und Bodenplatte enthalten.

The original Ferris Wheel was constructed in 1946 and operated for approximately 20 years by the Michel family. They were from Fuerth/Bavaria and had been in show business from 1886. The Ferris Wheel from the “60’s†is driven by a powerful motor which provides a realistic movement. The gondolas swing freely on their filigree struts. A special effect is created by the lights shining through the columns and the arms (Lights and baseplate are included).
