Description: English below

Vorbild

Prototype
At the end of the 19th century a railroad was built in the Harz (Germany); the Nordhausen Wernigeroder Railway (NWE).
Since the railway led through the mountains, it was constructed as a narrow-gauge railway.
In order to avoid the time-consuming reloading of goods, standard gauge freight cars were often set on carrier trucks to be transported over the narrow gauge network.
In 1909, the NWE purchased 34 carrier trucks (NWE 533 to 566) from the wagon factory Görlitz (Germany).
In 1993, the railway became the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways (HSB). Currently there are still more than ten of these carrier trucks preserved.

Model
This beautiful and carefully developed model is constructed of high quality "Luran®”plastic.
The carrier trucks are equipped with stainless steel wheels. Ball bearing axles ensure the best rolling characteristics.
The model is suitable for the automatic raising and lowering of standard-gauge freight cars using the appropriate carrier truck pit.
The carrier truck set includes a coupling rod which is compatible with the hook and loop coupling of the well-known manufacturers.
