Die Ferieninsel Wangerooge in Norddeutschland ist völlig autofrei. Das sichert der schmalspurigen Inselbahn bis heute ihr Dasein. Im Einsatz stand hier zusammen mit weiteren Schwestermaschinen die Lok 399 101-5.
Das LGB-Modell gibt diese interessante Diesellok authentisch wieder.
Angetrieben von einem zugstarken Bühlermotor eignet sich das Modell zm Einsatz vor Personen- und Güterzügen. Die Beleuchtung der Lok wechselt in Fahrtrichtung und die Türen im Führerhaus lassen sich öffnen.
Ausgestattet mit einem MZS-Decoder onboard lässt sich das LGB-Modell auf analogen und MZS-gesteuerten Anlagen einsetzen.

Cars are barred from the vacation island of Wangerooge on the north German coast, and that has guaranteed the existence of the island’s narrow-gauge railroad. The line employed loco 399 101-5 and several of its sisters.
This LGB model is an authentic replica of this interesting diesel loco. Powered by a strong Bühler motor, the model can be used to pull passenger and freight trains. The loco's lights illuminate in the direction of travel. The cab doors open.
A factory-installed MTS onboard decoder allows operation on analog and digital layouts.
