Model of the modern "Taurus" freight electric locomotive of the Ă–sterreichische Bundesbahn (Austrian Federal Railway)
The Piko model:
- A powerful motor in each of the two trucks (bogies)
- Both axles of each truck (bogie) driven
- Can pull about 25 four-axle vehicles on level track
- Power pick-up on all eight wheels
- Two sliders per truck (bogie) for power pick-up
- Blackened zinc die-cast wheel discs, engraved with screws imitations
- Separately attached buffer beams with hook and loop coupling may be exchanged for central buffer coupling,
- Separately attached front grab irons, and windshield wipers
- Ready to retrofit a decoder and sound system with prepared speaker compartment
- Detailed cab interior with locomotive engineer
- Movable, but non-funtioning-pantograph
- Parts moulded of special plastic suitable for outdoor operation
