Langkesselwagen waren eine der ersten Güterwagen im LGB Programm.
Der erste Langkesselwagen hatte die Beschriftung "Petroleum" die loose als Aufkleber beigefügt war, der zweite war dieser Aral Langkesselwagen den es in drei Versionen gab, mit einem weißem, grauen oder blauen Kessel.
Später kam ein grüner BP Langkesselwagen und ein roter Esso Langkesselwagen hinzu.
Kesselwagen werden oft umlackiert, entweder von Firmen wie Baumann Modellspielwaren mit der Genehmigung von LGB oder einfach von Sammlern oder Händlern.

Tank cars with a long tank, normally referred to as "Early tank cars", were some of the very first freight cars offered by LGB. The first "early" tank car came with a "Petroleum" label that the purchaser had to apply, the second one was this Aral tank car that came in three versions, with a white, grey or blue tank.
Following this was a green BP "early" tank car and a red Esso "early" tank car.
