RhB G 2/3+2/2 Nr.25 Mallet Tenderdampflokomotive
Wird als Bausatz geliefert.
Vorbild:
Die Tenderlokomotive Nr. 25 wurde von der Schweizerischen Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik in Winterthur für die Rhätische Bahn Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts, gefertigt.
Die Bauart war Mallet - Vierzylinder im Verbund, die Steuerung Walschaert, der Rahmen war ein Aussenrahmen. Der Dampf wurde über den Dampfdom abgenommen und an die hinteren Hochdruckzylinder geführt, mit dem Abdampf wurden die vorderen Niederdruckzylinder gespeist.
Gelaufen ist sie bis zu ihrer Ausmusterung in den Jahren 1920/21 auf dem Stammnetz der RhB.
Die Elektrifizierung und der große Kohlemangel ab dem Jahr 1913 haben dieser schwarzen Schönheit ein viel zu frühes Ende gesetzt und so wurde die Nr.25 in den Jahren 1920/21 schon wieder ausgemustert und nach Madagaskar verkauft, wo sie 1951 ausrangiert und leider verschrottet wurde.
Modell:
Der vorbildgerechte Nachbau der Nr.25, im Maßstab 1:22,5 wird von uns als Bausatz in gewohnter Qualität angeboten.
Der Dampfkessel ist mit einem Flammrohr mit Rauchrohren ausgestattet und wird mit Gas beheizt. Die Lokomotive verfügt über zwei Gastanks.
Das Kesselwasser wird durch ein Speiseventil am Führerstand eingepumpt und kann auch während des Betriebs nachgespeist werden.
Der Wasserstand des Kessels ist über ein Ø 5 mm Schauglas ablesbar. Die Zylinder sind über Spindeln entwässerbar, die Kolben sind, seit Jahren bewährt, aus Teflon gefertigt. Die Dampfzufuhr Frischdampf- Abdampf wird mit einem Verbundventil geregelt.
Die Einzelteile der Lok sind bearbeitet (gerieben, Gewinde geschnitten, gelötet, geprüft), geschwärzt oder lackiert, fertig zur Montage.
Die bebilderte Bauanleitung hilft beim Zusammenbau.
Sinnvolle Ergänzungen sind: eine Fernsteuerung, die Dampfpfeife, unser RC-Gashahn sowie unser Starterset.

RhB G 2/3 + 2/2 No.25 Mallet tank locomotive

Prototype:
The tank locomotive number 25 was manufactured by the Swiss Locomotive and Machine Works in Winterthur for the Rhaetian Railway at the end of the 19th century.
The design was a Mallet - four-cylinder composite, the control Walschaert, the frame was a outer frame. The steam was drawn via the steam dome and guided to the rear high-pressure cylinder, the exhaust steam from those fed the front low-pressure cylinders .
This locomotive was in service on the main line of the RhB until decommissioned in 1920-21
The electrification and the great scarcity of coal starting in 1913 meant a much too early end of this black beauty and so the number 25 was retired in 1920-21 already and sold to Madagascar, where she was taken out of service in 1951 and unfortunately scrapped.
Model:
The prototypical replica of the Number 25 in the scale of 1: 22.5 is offered by us as a kit in our usual top notch quality.
The boiler is equipped with a flame tube with smoke tubes and is heated with gas. The locomotive has two gas tanks.
The boiler water is pumped through a feed valve on the cab and can be replenished during operation.
The water level of the boiler is a readable on a 5 mm diameter gauge. The cylinders are dewatered by spindles, pistons are made of teflon which has proven itself over many years.. The supply of steam - fresh steam exhaust steam is controlled by a composite valve.
The individual parts of the locomotive kit are suitably prepared (ground, cut thread, soldered, tested), blackened or painted, ready for assembly.
The illustrated included instructions aid in assembly.
Useful add-ons include a remote control, a steam whistle, our RC gas tap as well as our starterset.
