Museumsbahn Schönheide Aussichtswagen (Sight-seeing car) 970-358
Description: English below

English

This sight-seeing car of the tourist railroad Schönheide was constructed using a Newqida China car body.
After the topof car body cut off, a border was installed around the edge using a U-shaped 3 x 1.5mm length of brass and attached with superglue.
The holes were drilled for the Graupner stanchions item 450.2 and these were then inserted.
A brass wire of 0.8mm diameter was inserted through the holes in the stanchions.
Next came the various paint jobs; the car body is painted in green chrome-oxide.
The bar unit was built completely from scratch, it was also painted several times.
The final step was the labelling, used with kind permission of the Bitburger group which owns the Wernesgrüner trademarks.
