Dampflokomotive 99.516 der Königlichen Sächsischen Staatseisenbahnen.
Vorbild:
Insgesamt 96 dieser Meyer-Gelenklokomotiven wurden für die Königlich Sächsischen Staatseisenbahnen beschafft. Viele davon sind heute noch bei zahlreichen Museumsbahnen im Einsatz. Die älteste davon ist die 99.516 der Museumsbahn Schönheide in Sachsen in der Nähe von Zwickau bzw. Chemnitz. Leider ist diese Maschine momentan zerlegt und nicht einsatzfähig, die Museumsbahn Schönheide bemüht sich allerdings mit Spenden und mit eigener Kraft um eine Wiederinbetriebnahme der Lok.
Modell:
Das LGB-Modell gibt diese Maschine authentisch wieder und verfügt über folgende technischen Merkmale:
DCC-Schnittstelle,
Antrieb aller Achsen mit zwei zugstarken Bühler-Motoren,
Rauchgenerator,
Betriebsartenwahlschalter,
Haftreifen,
Dreilicht-Spitzensignal mit der Fahrtrichtung wechselnd.
Führerstandsbeleuchtung,
12 Stromabnehmer,
Spannungs-Begrenzungssystem,
Mehrzweck- Steckdose u.a.
Im Kaufpreis enthalten sind 25,00 Euro je Lokomotive, die der Museumsbahn Schönheide zum Wiederaufbau der originalen Dampflok 99.516 gespendet werden. Der Lok ist weiterhin eine Fahrkarte für eine Gratisfahrt mit der Museumsbahn Schönheide beigefügt.

99.516 Steam Locomotive of the Royal Saxon State Railways.
Prototype:
A total of 96 of this Meyer articulated locomotive were purchased for the Royal Saxon State Railways. Many of them are still in use on numerous museum railroads. The oldest of them is road number 99.516 owned by the Schönheide Railroad Museum in Saxony in the area of Zwickau and Chemnitz in Germany. Unfortunately, this unit is presently disassembled and not operational. The Schönheide Railroad Museum is trying to gather donations and its own resources to put the locomotive back into service.
Model:
The LGB model is an authentic reproduction of this unit and has the following technical features:
DCC connector,
all axles powered by two powerful Bühler motors,
a smoke generator,
a selector switch for the mode of operation,
traction tires,
triple headlights that change over with the direction of travel.
The locomotive also has engineer‘s cab lighting,
12 electric pickups,
a voltage limiting system,
a general-purpose socket, and much more.
Length (over the buffers): 475mm (18-11/16 inches)
The purchase price of each locomotive includes 25.00 Euros that will be donated to the Schönheide Railroad Museum to overhaul the original steam locomotive, road number 99.516. Also included with the locomotive is a complimentary ticket for a ride on the Schönheide Railroad Museum‘s line. |
