3-teiliger elektrischer Triebzug ABe 8/12 der RhB (Rhätische Bahn).
Vorbild:
Das erste von bislang 15 bestellten und von Stadler Rail für die RhB entwickelten Fahrzeugen wurde im Oktober 2009 abgeliefert. Die Dauerleistung dieses Triebwagens liegt annähernd so hoch wie die der GE 4/4 III, der stärksten Lokomotive der RhB. Das Fahrzeug mit der Betriebsnummer 3502 hat im Dezember 2010 im Vereinatunnel mit 145 km/h einen Geschwindigkeitsweltrekord für die Meterspur aufgestellt. Dieser Zug wird bei der RhB das führende Triebfahrzeug für die kommenden Jahre sein. Er verkehrt neben anderen Strecken zum Beispiel auf der bekannten Berninalinie oder auch auf der Arosabahn. Dabei ist es Normalität, dass auch eine größere Anzahl von Güter- oder Personenwagen angehängt werden.
Modell:
Das LGB Modell vom "Allegra" ist eine komplette Neuentwicklung. Dabei sind zu Gunsten einer hohen Zugkraft beide Triebköpfe mit Bühler-Motoren angetrieben. Dabei können natürlich vorbildgerecht weitere Wagen angehängt werden.

3-Unit electric rail car ABe 8/12 of the RhB (Rhaetian Railway) .
Prototype:
The first unit of 15 units ordered so far and developed by Stadler Rail for the RhB was delivered in October 2009. The power developed by this rail car is almost as high as that of Ge 4/4 III , the most powerful locomotive of the RhB . The rail car with running number 3502 established a world speed record for meter gauge travelling at 145 km/h (…) through the Vereina tunnel in December of 2010. This rail car will be the basic power unit of the RhB for the coming years. It operates on many of the RhB routes including the famous Bernina line and also on the Arosa section. There is usually a large number of freight or passenger cars coupled to the rail car.
Model:
The LGB model of the "Allegra" is a completely new development. In this model, both power heads are equipped with Bühler motors to provide high pulling power. That allows additional cars to be coupled to the model just as in the prototype.
