Porter Satteltanklokomotive "Daisy" der J.H. Worden in Cedar Springs.
Dies ist die erste Ausführung der Satteltanklok von Lehmann. Dieses Modell wurde nur für den US-Markt hergestellt.
Die Lok war auch im Startset 92780 erhältlich.
Die LGB Klauenkupplung wurde nachgerüstet.

Vorbild
Die amerikanische Lokomotivfabrik H. K. Porter exportierte kleine Lokomotiven in alle Welt. Porter-Lokomotiven fuhren bei Zuckerrohrbahnen auf Hawaii und auf den Philippinen sowie auf amerikanischen Waldbahnen. Sie wurden auf Minenbahnen in Arizona und Mexiko ebenso eingesetzt wie auf der Baustelle des Panama-Kanals. Man fand sie sogar im Personenverkehr auf Sansibar, einer tropischen Insel vor Afrika.

Porter saddle tank locomotive "Daisy" of J.H. Worden of Cedar Springs.
This is the first edition of the saddle tank loco from Lehmann.
The model was produced for the US market only.
The loco was also available in the starter set 92780.
The LGB knuckle coupler has been retrofitted.

The Prototype
The American locomotive works of H. K. Porter exported small locomotives to many countries. Porter locomotives ran on the sugar tramways of Hawaii and the Philippines, as well as on American logging railroads. They were used in mines in Arizona and Mexico and during the construction of the Panama canal. You could even find them in passenger service on Zanzibar, a tropical island off the African coast.
