Der RollprÃ¼fstand dient zum ÃœberprÃ¼fen der Laufeigenschaften und erleichtert die Wartung von Modellen. Er besteht aus 4 QualitÃ¤tskugellagern auf denen die RÃ¤der laufen. Diese Lager vereinen hohe Laufruhe und hohe Belastbarkeit bei minimalen RollgerÃ¤uschen. Die Kugellager sind gekapselt um das Eindingen von Staub und Schmutz zu verhindern.

Die PrÃ¼fstÃ¤nde werden auf das Gleis augesetzt. Das unten vorstehende isolierende MittelstÃ¼ck hÃ¤lt die Konstruktion exakt fluchtend zwischen den Schienen fest. Die Aluwinkel sorgen fÃ¼r die Stromversorgung zum Modell. Die Baugruppe ist 35mm lang, somit schmÃ¤ler als viele LGB LokomotivrÃ¤der. Damit ist es mÃ¶glich auch C Kuppler mit allen Achsen aufzubocken. Die Kugellager ragen oben etwa 3mm Ã¼ber das Profil hinaus um das Aufsetzen der Lokomotiven zu erleichtern.

Description by Arnold HÃ¼bsch:
The test stand is used to verify the movement of locos. It can also be used to simplify maintenance jobs. It is based on 4 ball bearings. This allows heavy loads combined with smooth operation. The bearings are capsuled to protect them against dust and dirt.

The test stand is set onto the tracks. The insulator at the bottom holds them exactly between the 2 tracks and aligns them straight. The aluminum profile transports power from the tracks to the model. Each test stand is 35mm long. This is less than the average wheel diameter of an LGB loco, which allows supporting even narrow spaced axles like a 0-3-0 configuration. The bearings show up about 3mm on the top side which supports mounting the model on the test stand.
