The narrow-gauge Colorado and Southern Railroad enjoys a following far out of proportion to its tiny size, even decades after it went out of business. One reason is the railroad’s fleet of charming "bobber" cabooses, which could be found on trains serving towns with magical names like Silver Plume, Idaho Springs and Leadville.
