Die Denver & Rio Grande Railroad ist eine der bekanntesten Gebirgsschmalspurstrecken Nordamerikas. Reisende und unzÃ¤hlige GÃ¼ter wurden mit ihr Ã¼ber die BergpÃ¤sse Colorados befÃ¶rdert. An diese Zeiten erinnert das in der typischen Lackierung und Bedruckung der Denver & Rio Grande gehaltene LGB-Modell. Auf dem FÃ¼hrerhausdach der â€œForneyâ€ sind eine geÃ¶ffnete LÃ¼ftungsklappe und ein groÃŸer RÃ¼ckfahrscheinwerfer nachgebildet. Das Modell besticht durch die vielen Ansetzteile, wie HandlÃ¤ufe und freistehende Leitungen. Ausgestattet mit einem Dampfentwickler steht die â€œForneyâ€ fÃ¼r den Einsatz auf Ihrer LGB-Anlage bereit. Das Modell ist mit einer DCC-Schnittstelle ausgerÃ¼stet. Sie kÃ¶nnen die Lok somit problemlos auf analogen LGB-Anlagen einsetzen oder mit einem MZS Lok Decoder III (LGB 55027) nachrÃ¼sten.

The Denver & Rio Grande Western is perhaps the best-known narrow-gauge railway in North America. In its heyday, from the 1880s to 1940s, the network carried countless travelers and innumerable tons of freight over the mountain passes of western Colorado. This LGB model recreates that era with a â€œForneyâ€ type loco in the prototypical colors and markings the D&RGW. Classic Forney features, like the single frame and pivoting truck under the tender section, are captured along with fine details like handrails and steam lines. Equipped with a smoke generator, the model is ready for operation on your analog LGB layout. Plus, the model is equipped with a â€œDCC interfaceâ€ for installation of a DCC/MTS decoder. Use the MTS Decoder III (LGB 55027) for easy installation or a third-party, DCC-type decoder.
