Weihnachts "Bobber" GĂĽterzugbegleitwagen (Caboose) in simulierter Holzbauweise
Vorbild:
Dieser Nordamerikanische Güterzugbegleitwagen basiert auf einem vierrädrigen Vorbild aus Holz wie er von der Mitte 1800 bis Anfang 1900 in Nordamerika zu finden war. Er wurde am Zugende des Güterzuges angekuppelt und diente als Wohnraum für das Zugpersonal und zur Beobachtung des Zuges mit der erhöhten Kanzel.
Modell ist ausgestattet mit
• Seiten und Enden in simulierter Holzmaserung
• Klaren Kunststoff-Fenstern
• Detailliertem Untergestell mit gefederten Achsen
• AAR Klauenkupplungen vorn und hinten
• Viele Details wie Schornstein, Haltegriffe, Dachläufe, Schlusslichter, etc.
• Realistische Lackierung & Beschriftung

Chistmas wood-style bobber caboose
Prototype
This bobber caboose is based upon a four-wheel wooden caboose of the mid-1800's to early 1900's. Cabooses have become mythic in railroad nostalgia. Coupled to the end of the freight train, cabooses have historically served as living quarters for the train crew as well as an observation point of the train they were connected to.
Model is equipped with
• Simulated wood grain sides, ends and walkways
• Clear plastic windows with brightwork trim
• Detailed caboose under frame with sprung axles
• Front / Rear operating AAR knuckle couplers
• Many details including smoke-stack, grab rails, roof walk, marker lights, etc.
• Realistic crisp painting & lettering
