Nach dem "Anschluss"Österreichs im März 1938 wurden einige dieser Loks in die deutsche Reichsbahn eingegliedert und bekamen die Nummern 99 7811 bis 7822. Nach Kriegsende fuhren die Loks mit diesen Nummern noch lange auf den österreichischen Strecken.

The prototype of this locomotive was initially built in Austria and placed in service there.
After the "Anschluss" (Annexation by Germany) in March 1938, some of these locomotives were incorporated with the German Reichsbahn and were assigned the running numbers 99 7811 - 99 7822. After the war the locomotives with these numbers continued to operate in service with the Austrian Railroads for a long time.
