Bausatz einer Kleindiesellok Ns3.
Loks dieses Types wurden oft in Sand- und Kiesgruben oder dergleichen eingesetzt. Sie wurden von mehreren Herstellern geliefert, sodass man mit der Beschriftung viel Spielraum hat. Sie wurde in den Spurweiten 600 bis 1000mm gebaut.
Das Gestänge ist außen auf die Achsstümpfe aufgesteckt und die Blindwelle in der Mitte wird nur mitgedreht. Es muß so eingebaut werden, dass es locker mitläuft, was erstmal etwas Tüftelei ist. Sitzbank und Motorhaube sind frei für Gewichte und Elektrik. Die Kupplungen sind mit LGB-Kupplungen kompatibel, aber es lässt sich kein Haken montieren. Auch die Motorhaube ist aus Platten zusammengesetzt. Die Rundungen müssen noch geschliffen werden.
Der Bausatz enthält:
- alle Teile des Gehäuses und Gestänge
- Antriebsblock, Eigenkonstruktion, Achsabstand 72 mm, Antrieb über beide Achsen, Stromaufnahme über beide Achsen und Schleifer
- Scheiben für Fenster und Lampen
- Explosionszeichnung
- Nieten aus Polystyrol, schwarz
Nicht enthaltenes Zubehör:
- Kabel, Leuchtmittel
- Kühlergrill (ich habe Fliegengitter verwendet)
- Beschriftung (das Deutz-Schild ist geätzt und von Beckert-Modellbau)
- Fahrerfigur
- Auspuff (ich habe ein Stück Kugelschreiberhülse verwendet)
- Draht/ Büroklammern für Griffe

Building kit of the Kleindiesellok (Diesel switching locomotive) Ns3.
Locomotives of this type were often used in sand and gravel pits or the like. They were supplied by several manufacturers, so you have a lot of options with the livery and lettering. This locomotive was built to run on gauges from 600 to 1000mm.
The drive linkage is mounted on the outside on the axle stubs and the blind drive in the centre only rotates. It must be installed so that it runs freely which may require a bit of fiddling. The seat and motor area are free of obstructions and can be used to add weights and electrical components. The couplings are compatible with LGB couplings, a hook however cannot be installed. The hood is assembled using panels. The edges need to be sanded.

- All parts of the housing and drive linkage
- Motor block of my own construction, wheelbase 72 mm, both axles powered, power pick-up on all wheels plus sliders
- Panes for windows and lamps
- Exploded assembly drawing
- Rivets made of polystyrene, black

- Grille (I used window screening)
- Lettering (the Deutz manufacturers plaque is etched and was supplied by Beckert-Modellbau))
- Locomotive engineer
- Exhaust (I used the sleeve from a ballpoint pen)
- Wire / paper clips for grab irons
