This electric locomotive is equipped with the new type of chrome-plated, ball bearing axles and lights that change from red to white depending on the direction of travel.
With DR (German State Railroad) livery of epoch IV with a red frame and modified pantographs compared to the DB (German Federal Railroad) version.

The model features:
- 2 motors
- 4 driven ball bearing axles
- 2 traction tires
- Power pick-up via 4 wheels and 4 sliders
- Three LED lights changingwhite/red depending on the direction of travel
- Ready for the installation of a digital and sound system
- Compatible with standard hook and loop couplers
- Optional Sound: Piko 36197
- Optional DCC Decoder: Piko 36122
