Die moderne Eisenbahn erhält jetzt auch im LGB-Sortiment Zuwachs.
Bei der Deutschen Bahn AG stehen im Geschäftsbereich DB Cargo moderne Selbstentladewagen im Einsatz. Diese Wagen, die hauptsächlich in Ganzzügen eingesetzt werden, dienen dem Transport von Schüttgütern zu Baustellen.
Das LGB-Modell ist nicht nur die gelungene Umsetzung eines Schüttgutwagens. Dank der elektronischen Steuerung bietet das Fahrzeug auch noch jede Menge Spielspaß. So lässt sich mittels der digitalen Steuerung eine Seitenklappe nach oben öffnen.
Das Modell verfügt über eine Wechselpufferbohle. Mit den Doppelpuffern versehen, können Sie den Wagen zum Beispiel mit der modernen E-Lok der Baureihe 101 (20310) kuppeln, die beim Vorbild neben Reisezügen auch Güterzüge befördert.
Mit der Mittelpufferbohle lässt sich aber auch jede andere Lokomotive zusammen mit diesem Wagen einsetzen. Der Spaß bleibt derselbe: den Wagen beladen, mit einer Lokomotive zu einer Baustelle oder einem Gleisanschluss fahren und digital gesteuert den Wagen wieder entleeren.
Das Modell ist mit Metallradsätzen ausgestattet.

These cars, which are often used in sets of multiple units, are employed by railways to transport bulk materials, like ballast, to construction sites.
This LGB model is a faithful replica of one of those Deutsche Bahn – wagons, but it also has a special feature: a motorized side wall that can be opened for unloading by remote control! Load the car at the station, take it to a construction site, empty it and return it!
An MTS decoder is built into the metal-wheeled car, and you can operate the mechanism on an LGB Multi-Train System layout using a Loco Remote (LGB 55016) or Universal Remote (LGB 55015).
The model is also equipped with changeable buffers: dual buffers for use with the modern DB 101 series locos (LGB 20310) and single buffers for use with other locos.
