Der GE 44 Tonnen Switcher (Rangierlok) war der vierte Typ von Lokomotive die von USA Trains produziert wurde und die erste mit dem "Power Trac"-System. Die Verkaufsziffern dieses USA Trains GE 44-Tonner waren enttÃ¤uschend und dieses Modell ist schon seit langem nicht mehr im Programm. USA Trains versuchte auch den 44-Tonner in Starter-Sets zu verkaufen, aber auch dort war die Lok nicht so populÃ¤r wie die Starter-Sets mit der NW-2 Lok.

The GE 44 ton switcher was the fourth type of locomotive that USA Trains introduced and their first one with the "Power Trac" system. Sales on the USA Trains GE 44 tonner were disappointing and today this model has long been discontinued. USA Trains also tried to market the 44 tonners in starter sets, but again they were not as popular as the NW-2 starter sets.
