Description: English below

- zwei automatisch hochfahrende Pantographen,
- Spannungsbegrenzungs-System,
- automatisch in Fahrtrichtung wechselnde Beleuchtung,
- zwei Mehrzweck-Steckdosen mit Sicherung.

English

The RhB has a total of 12 class Ge 4/4 III locomotives. These are some of the newest narrow gauge locomotives in the world. The first unit was delivered in 1993, the other 11 locomotives followed between 1994 and 1999. The LGB model of the RhB‘s leading locomotive also has modern technology: The pantographs raise and lower automatically, so that the rear pantograph is always in contact with the catenary. The headlights and marker lights change over with the direction of travel. The engineer‘s cab at the front (depending on the direction of travel) and the instrument panel in that cab are also illuminated. With two powerful motors the model can also be used to pull heavy trains on routes with a lot of grades.
This detailed and weather-proof model has a lot of features. It has:
– a factory-installed multi-train control system decoder for analog and digital operation
– cab doors that can be opened
– two selector switches for the mode of operation
– the operating current for the locomotive can be taken from the track or from the catenary
– two encapsulated gear drives with seven-pole Bühler motors
– all of the axles are powered
– one traction tire
– twelve electrical pickups
– two pantographs that raise and lower automatically
– a voltage limiting system
– headlights and marker lights that change over automatically with the direction of travel
– two fused general-purpose electrical sockets.
