Vorbild:
Die grÃ¼nen EW I Personenwagen der Serie B 2451 - B 2460 in verkÃ¼rzter Bauart wurden bei der RhB im Jahre 1972 fÃ¼r den Betrieb auf der Berninalinie mit ihren engen Radien, in Dienst gestellt. Sie waren eine Nachbestellung und baugleich mit der im Jahre 1968 bestellten Serie Wagen B 2307 - B 2314 mit denen ab 1969 erstmals direkte Kurswagen von Chur Ã¼ber den Berninapass nach Tirano angeboten wurden.

Modell:
In Handarbeit und kleinster Serie gefertigtes Modell. Wie beim Vorbild erhÃ¤ltlich in verkÃ¼rzten oder langen Bauform. AusgerÃ¼stet mit "echten" FaltenbÃ¤lgen und einem Drehgestell daÃŸ Ã¼ber eine originalgetreue, funktionierende PrimÃ¤r- und SekundÃ¤rfederung verfÃ¼gt. Die PrimÃ¤rfederung ist die Federung die Ã¼ber je eine Schraubenfeder und einem Schwingarm im Drehgestell die Federung der Achse sicherstellt. Die SekundÃ¤rfederung ist die AbstÃ¼tzung des Wagenkasten Ã¼ber je zwei Schraubenfedern auf dem Drehgestell.
Der Wagenkasten ist aus Strangpressprofilen, wie beim Vorbild aus Aluminium, entstanden. Diese Profile wurden in der heimischen Werkstatt auf die richtige LÃ¤nge geschnitten und erhielten dann mit einer Stanzmaschine die Fensteraussparungen. Die EndstÃ¼cke mit den Einstiegen waren wieder eigens gefertigte AluguÃŸteile, die passgenau mit dem Wagenkasten verstiftet und verschraubt wurden. Die funktionierenden EinstiegstÃ¼ren sind vorbildlich aus silbern oder gold eloxiertem Aluminium hergestellt. Die DÃ¤cher werden passgenau in einer LÃ¤ngsnut im Wagenprofil eingeklipst und sind fÃ¼r eine Innenbeleuchtung vorbereitet.

Prototype:
The green EW I passenger cars of the Series B 2451 - B 2460 in the shortened version were placed in service with the RhB in 1972 for use on the Bernina line with their narrow radii. They were identical to the in 1968 manufactured cars of the series B 2307 - B 2314 which in 1969 allowed for the first ever direct through coaches from Chur over the Bernina Pass to Tirano.

Model:
Individually manufactured in very small production runs. Available in long or shortened version the same as the prototype. Equipped with "real" bellows and trucks (bogies) with functioning primary and secondary suspension. The primary suspension is the suspension of the axles using a coil spring and a swing arm in the bogie. The secondary suspension supports the car body with two coil springs mounted on the bogie.
The car body is made of extruded aluminum profiles the same as the prototype. These were cut to the correct length at the Lebu workshop and then received the window cutouts using a punch press. The end pieces with the entrances were specially manufactured aluminum cast parts that were accurately pinned and bolted to the car body. The functioning entry doors are manufactured prototypically correct of silver or gold anodized aluminum. The roof is clipped into a groove in the car body; cars are designed to accept interior lighting.
