Vorbild:
Nicht immer wurde bei der Weiterverwendung der alten Wagen auch der Wagenkasten benÃ¶tigt, oft wurden auf dem noch gut brauchbaren Rahmen neue Aufbauten aufgebaut. So erging es dem frÃ¼heren Drittklass-Personen- wagen C. 2002, geliefert 1889. Nach dem Ausscheiden aus dem aktiven Personenzugdienst wurde er bis 1960 noch komplett erhalten als Malerwerkstatt weiterverwendet. Dann wurde sein Wagenkasten abgebrochen und ein Aufbau mit BordwÃ¤nden und Klappdeckeln trat an seine Stelle. Der als Xk 9023 bezeichnete Baudienstwagen verlor im Laufe seines Einsatzes komplett seine Klappdeckel und wurde als Niederbordwagen weiter verwendet. Erst 2005 wurde der Wagen auch seines nachgebauten Wagenkastens beraubt, der ursprÃ¼ngliche Rahmen wurde aufgearbeitet und soll als Vertreter der ersten Bauarten von Wagen der RhB in einem Museum gezeigt werden.

Prototype:
When old freight cars are put to new use, the old superstructure is not always used. New ones are generally mounted on the existing frames which are often still in good condition. This is what happened to the former third-class passenger car no. C. 2002 which was delivered to the railway in 1889. Following its withdrawal from routine passenger service, it was used as a painterâ€˜s workshop until 1960 when the superstructure was replaced by a new one with sides and hatch covers. In the course of its service the construction car known as Sk 9023 lost its covers completely but continued to be used as a low-side gondola. The reconstructed superstructure wasnâ€˜t removed until 2005 when the original frame was restored. Now it is to be exhibited at a museum as an example of the first types of car used by the RhB.
