English below
Many hoppers were of course in service at the White Pass & Yukon. Some of these cars by the way came from the roster of the East Broad Top
When a new mine in Faro (near Whitehorse) began operation in 1970, the White Pass transported up to 500,000 tonnes of lead, zinc and silver per year in these cars to Skagway to be transported by sea.
In these heydays of the White Pass however, 3-bay hopper were used.
I'm not aware of any prototypical livery that matches that of the LGB model.
