Modell:
Ãœber eBay erhielt ich ein GehÃ¤use einer in der Mitte durchgeschnittenen und stark verkÃ¼rzten U25B der D&RGW (Aristocraft 22107). Ich habe die Lok soweit als mÃ¶glich wieder aufgebaut, teillackiert, beschriftet (Microscale HO-Decal), mit Fahrgestellen der NW2 versehen, sowie mit einem Uhlenbrock 77500 Dekoder und Susi-Sound aufgerÃ¼stet. Das "S" im Namen soll fÃ¼r Small oder Switcher stehen.
Vorbild:
Ein konkretes Vorbild zu dieser Lok gibt es nicht. Viele Bahngesellschaften tauschten jedoch die Original-Drehgestelle gegen die anderer Hersteller. Auch gab es verkÃ¼rzte oder verlÃ¤ngerte Aufbauten. Oft wurde das von den bahneigenen WerkstÃ¤tten nach UnfÃ¤llen den jeweiligen MÃ¶glichkeiten oder Anforderungen entsprechend umgesetzt.

Model - I started with a dramatically shortened housing of a D&RGW U25B that I purchased on ebay, reconstructed the locomotive, repainted and re-lettered (Microscale H0 decals)it and used the drive units of the NW-2. Then added an Uhlenbrock 77500 decoder and 'SUSI'-sound. The "S" stands for small or switcher.
There is no specific prototype of this locomotive. However, many railroads replaced trucks of locomotives and also shortened or lengthened the body itself. This was often done in the shops of the railroads themselves depending on the specific requirements at that time.
