Funk-Fahrpult (Wireless throttle) MX31FU
Description: Funk-Eigenschaften des Zimo Funk-Fahrpultes MX31FU :
Reichweite 50 - 100 m in „teilweise verbautem Gebiet“, also z.B.

Capabilities of the Zimo wireless throttle MX31FU:
The wireless Zimo throttles are equipped with an 1900mAh Lithium-Ion battery which is charged whenever the throttle is connected to the CAN bus. In addition, the MX31 is also equipped with a connector for an AC adapter so that the throttle can be charged without having to connect it to a Zimo system. The wireless throttle MX31FU can also be used in a tethered mode with a cable and in that case functions identically to a 'normal' MX31 throttle.
Transmitting range is in the order of 50 to 100 meters (150 to 300 feet) in a partially 'built-up area, for example the Central Station located in or behind the house with a wall in between or two floors or something similar; in an open environment the transmitting range will be larger however that is usually not of any use in praxis.
The battery will typically last for 8 hours on one charge, thus a complete typical day of operation at exhibitions or meetings. During that time, the throttles are always in use but that of course does not mean that one is constantly transmitting.
The number of simultaneous wireless throttles (MX31FU) that can be handled by one MXFU receiver is "officially" four but we have used up to 15 MX31FU throttles with two MXFU receivers (set to different channels) without any problems - at the Spur 1 meet in Sinsheim in 2006.
