Description:

Auf Basis der LGB Zahnradlok 2046 entstand diese Boxcab Diesellok der Pennsyvania RR. Die PRR hatte zwar Ã¼berwiegend Elektro Boxcabs, aber da ich ohne Oberleitung fahre, wurde die Lok zur Diesel Unit umgebaut. Derzeit ist die Lok aufgrund der langsamen Ãœbersetzung im Rangierdienst. Ein spÃ¤terer Zahnradbahn Einsatz ist nicht ausgeschlossen.

Starting with the LGB 2046 rack locomotive, I created this box cab diesel loco of the Pennsylvania Railroad. The PRR ran mostly electric box cabs but since my layout does not include any catenary, I created a diesel unit. This locomotive is currently limited to switching operations because of its slow speed, however, expanding its subsequent service as a rack locomotive is still in the cards.
