Zu Beginn der 1960er Jahre erhielt die Deutsche Bundesbahn für ihre Schmalspurstrecken in Baden-Württemberg fünf starke, moderne dieselhydraulische Drehgestell-Lokomotiven gleicher Bauart; Achsfolge B’B‘.
Alle Loks zeigen in ihrer äußeren Form eine große Ähnlichkeit mit der populären DB-Regelspur-Baureihe V100, die über viele Jahre in Deutschland anzutreffen war und teilweise noch ist.
Neuauflage mit geänderter Loknummer 252 901-4; nicht im 2008/2009 Katalog aufgeführt, wird aber im 2009/2010 Katalo gezeigt.

At the beginning of the sixtieths, the German Federal Railroad (DB) took delivery of five diesel-hydraulic locomotives class 252 for their narrow gauge lines in Baden-Württemberg, whell arrangement B'B'.
The general appearance of hese locos is very similar to the popular DB standard gauge V100 which was popular in Germany for many years, and still is.
New version withdifferent running number 252 901-4, not listed in 2008/2009 LGB catalog, but shown in the 2009/2010 LGB catalog.
