Schmalspur Dampflokomotiven waren das wichtigste Produkt der L. Corpet Locomotivefabrik in Paris. Nach dem Tod von Lucien Corpet, betrieb seine Frau das Unternehmen mit Hilfe eines Monsieur Louvet weiter, der Name der Firma wurde deshalb zu Corpet-Louvet et Compagnie geändert. Obwohl die Firma heute noch existiert, wurde die Herstellung von Dampflokomotive im Jahre 1952 aufgegeben. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurden 1880 Lokomotiven gebaut, meistens Schmalspurloks.
Die berühmten "030 T" Meter-Spur Lokomotiven wurden in ganz Frankreich und in vielen anderen europäischen Ländern eingesetzt. Sie wurden gleichmässig für Personen-und Güterzüge benutzt und wurden auch als Rangierloks eingesetzt. Von diesen schönen Lokomotiven wurden 826 Stück gebaut,, heute findet man mehrere dieser Lokomotiven in Museen. Das LGB Modell gibt das Erscheinungsbild dieser klassischen Dampflok hervorragend wider. Das dreiachsige Fahrwerk mit dem präzise kalibrierten Getriebe bietet hervorragende Laufeigenschaften.

Narrow gauge steam engines were the main product of the L. Corpet Locomotive Works in Paris. After the death of Lucien Corpet, his wife continued running the firm with the help of Monsieur Louvet, the name of the firm thus became Corpet-Louvet et Compagnie. Although the firm still exists today, it stopped building steam locomotive in 1952. until that time it had manufactured 1880 locomotives, most of them narrow gauge.
The famous “030 T†meter-gauge locomotives operated all over France and in many other European countries. They were used in front of passenger and freight trains alike and were also used for switching. 826 of these beautiful locomotives were built, today, several of these locomotives can be seen in museums. The LGB model captures the appearance of this classic steam loco. The three-axle chassis with its precisely calibrated gearbox provides excellent running characteristics.
