Die Furka Oberalp Bahn beschaffte für den Transitverkehr 1965 sechs Personenwagen in Leichtstahlbauweise die auf den Einheitswagen EW I der RhB basierten. Diese Wagen wurden von LEBU in der langen und kurzen Version hergestellt. Das FO Vorbild verfügt über einen anderen Drehgestelltyp als die RhB Wagen. Das Drehgestell der Bauart Schelling wurden von LEBU in allen Details im Modell umgesetzt. Auch alle anderen Änderungen gegenüber den RhB Fahrzeugen, hat der Werkzeugbauer beachtet.

Die LEBU FO Personenwagen EW I sind nur in kleiner Anzahl gefertigt worden. Der Wagenkasten ist aus Aluminium. Die Drehgestelle sind aus über 150 Kunststoff Einzelteilen voll gefedert mir Kugellagerachsen ausgerüstet.
In 1965, the Furka Oberalp Bahn procured six cars in lightweight steel design for transit trafficbased on the standard cars, EW I of the RhB. These cars were manufactured by Lebu in long and short version. The FO model uses a different type of bogie than the RhB cars. This bogie of type Schelling was implemented in all detail by Lebu in their model. All other changes from the RhB cars, were also taken into consideration by the toolmaker.

These cars were only manufactured in small quantities. The body is made of aluminum, the bogies are assembled using over 150 plastic parts, are fully sprung and equipped with ball-bearing axles. |
