Description: English below

Schotterwagen der Deutschen Bundesbahn

Vorbild:
So entstand o.a. der "Fcs 6451".

Breite: 131mm
Höhe: 170 mm
Höhe: 183 mm (Aufgebockt auf Boerman Rollböcke)

Hopper of the German Federal Railroad

Prototype:
In order to be able to transport bulk material effectively and safely, ballast cars or hoppers were made in large numbers.
The railroads tried to gradually standardize one type or the other.
That is how the above-mentioned "Fcs 6451" came into being. This type was built in large numbers in the mid-50s - among others by Deutsche Industrie-Werke AG in Berlin-Spandau, Germany.
Over the years, thousands of Fc(s)/Otmm hoppers were put into service all over Europe in a similar form.
They were then also in service on almost all railroads in Europe.
Even today, there are still many Fc(s)/Otmm hoppers in service
Fc(s)/Otmm cars were and are also found on narrow gauge railroads.
The Fc(s) hoppers were also frequent guests on the HSB.
Both on roll cars and on the modern Vevey carrier trucks

Model:
Much emphasis has been placed on the accurate model scale compared to the prototype.
We have implemented the car exactly in 1:22.5 scale.
The model is made of high quality plastic.
The model is equipped with stainless steel wheels.
Ball bearing axles provide the best running characteristics.
Buffers and axles are sprung.
The model can be retrofitted with prototypical screw couplers (Boerman No. 0006-0102).

The model has been developed as a load for carrier trucks (Boerman No. 0005-0201.
So you can experience the carrier truck traffic on your railroad.
The matching carrier truck pit is available under Boerman No. 0005-0001.

Length: 426 mm (16 3/4 inches)
Width: 131 mm (5 3/16 inches)
Height: 170 mm (6 11/16 inches)
Height: 183 mm (7 3/6 inches) - jacked up on Boerman carrier trucks
