SALOTA hat die Erfahrungen der Industrie-Elektronik auf das potentierte System der Modelleisenbahn- Steuerung angewendet. Mit diesem System kann man bis zu 5 Züge, völlig unabhängig voneinander, auf einem einzigen Stromkreis steuern.
Der bisherige Fahrtenregler wird durch das SALOTA-Steuerpult ersetzt.
Das Steuerpult mit eingebautem Trafo ist GS geprüft. Vorhandene Trafos entsprechender Leistung können mit Vorschaltgerät verwendet werden. Zu jeder Lokomotive muß ein Empfänger-Baustein zwischen Stromabnehmer (Schleifer bzw. Räder) und Motor geschaltet werden .
Die Elektronik des Steuerpultes liefert die Gleichspannung für Motor und Beleuchtung, zusammen mit den Steuerfrequenzen , über ein zweiadriges Kabel an das Gleis.
Jeder Empfänger in den Lokomotiven erkennt mit stufenloser Regelung vorwärts und rückwärts den Antriebsmotor .
Dauerzugbeleuchtung, auch bei stehendem Zug , ist durch die ständig vorhandene Gleichspannung an der Schiene gewährleistet. Ausnahme: Gleisabschnitte, die durch Halt-Signal blockiert sind und sonstige "tot" Strecken. Durch eine Ankopplung über HF Drossel Type 458/120 ist auch hier die Beleuchtung möglich.
Die zusätzliche Verwendung einer Oberleitung ermöglicht es, bis zu 10 Züge unabhängig zu steuern. Die Mehrzugsteuerung ist von der Deutschen Bundespost zugelassen.

"MZS 5 x3 - Five times the fun playing with your trains.
SALOTA has applied the experience of industrial electronics to the potent system of model railroad control. With this system it is possible to control up to 5 trains, completely independent of each other, on a single circuit.
The existing controller is replaced by the SALOTA control panel.
The control panel with built-in transformer is GS tested. Existing transformers of appropriate power can be used with an adapter. For each locomotive, a receiver module must be connected between the current collector (slider or wheels) and the motor.
The electronics of the control panel supplies the DC voltage for motor and lighting, together with the control frequencies , via a two-wire cable to the track.
Each receiver in the locomotives controls steplessly forward and reverse the drive motor .
Continuous train lighting, even when the train is stationary, is ensured by the constant DC voltage on the rail . Exception: track sections blocked by stop signal and other "dead" tracks. By means of a coupling via HF choke type 458/120, lighting is also possible here.
The additional use of catenary makes it possible to control up to 10 trains independently. The multiple train control system is approved by the Deutsche Bundespost.
