LGB die Modelle der Nr. 701 und 704, Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz Modelle der gleichen Loks und zusätzlich ein Modell der Vietnamesischen HG 4/4 Lok Nr. 40 304.

Konstruktion:
Das LGB Modell wurde in Zinkdruckguss mit vielen Datailteilen konstruiert während das Kiss Modell komplett in Messing und Edelstahl gefertigt ist. Demzufolge ist das LGB Modell wesentlich schwerer als das Kiss Modell.
Beide Modelle sind ziemlich genau im Maßstab 1:22,5 gefertigt

"High End" models of the HG 4/4 rack steam locomotives in 1:22.5 scale in metal were delivered simultaneously at the beginning of 2021 by LGB and Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz. LGB offered the models of No. 701 and 704, Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz models of the same locomotives and additionally a model of the Vietnamese HG 4/4 locomotive No. 40 304.
All five locomotives have detailed entries in the Gartenbahn Database, this entry is specifically a comparison of the HG 4/4 No. 704 model from LGB and Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz with detailed comparison pictures under "More Information"
Construction:
The LGB model was constructed in die-cast zinc with many detail parts while the Kiss model is made entirely of brass and stainless steel. Consequently, the LGB model is much heavier than the Kiss model.
Both models are made quite accurately in 1:22.5 scale.
