Vorbild:
Um Schüttgut effektiv und sicher befördern zu können, wurden Schotterwagen in grosse Stückzahlen angefertigt.
Man versuchte nach und nach das eine und andere zu standardisieren. So entstand o.a. die "Fcs 6451". Diesen Typ wurde Mitte der 50-er Jahren in grossen Stückzahlen gebaut von o.a. die Deutsche Industrie-Werke AG in Berlin-Spandau. Von diesem Typ sind heute noch vier Exemplare bei den Harzer Schmalspurbahen verfügbar. Sie dienen (Aufgeschämelt auf Rollwagen) als Schotterbehälter und kommen bei Gleisbauarbeiten zum Einsatz. Die Verladung passiert dann im Werk Unterberg bei Eisfelder Talmühle.
In ähnliche Form sind durch die Jahren, Tausenden Fcs Schotterwagen durch ganz Europa in Dienst gestellt worden. Sie war dann auch bei fast alle Eisenbahnen in Europa unterwegs. Auch in der heutige Zeit gibt es noch viele Fcs Schotterwagen. Auch bei den Schmalspurbahnen waren und sind die Fcs Wagen an zu treffen. Auch bei den Harzer Schmalspurbahen waren die Fcs Schotterwagen oft zu Gast. Sowohl auf Rollwagen als auch auf den modernen Vevey Rollböcken.
Modell:
Viel Wert ist gelegt worden auf die genaue Umsetzung in Modell.
Wir haben der Waggon wieder genau in 1:22,5 umgesetzt. Das Modell wird aus hochwertiges Kunststof hergestellt. Der Wagen nähert sich den gültigen Spur II Normen an.
Das Modell ist ausgestattet mit Edelstahl-Radreifen. Kugellager Achsen sorgen für das beste Fahrverhalten. Die Puffer sind gefedert wie auch die Achsen.
Das Modell lasst sich mit vorbildgerechten Schraubenkupplungen nachrüsten (Boerman Art. Nr. 0006-0102).
Das Modell wird entwickelt als Ladegut für Rollböcke (z.B. Boerman Art. Nr. 0005-0201 und 0005-0301). Somit können Sie den Rollbockverkehr in Modell wieder voll erleben. Die passende Rollbockgrube erhalten Sie unter Boerman Art Nr. 0005-0001.

In order to be able to transport bulk material effectively and safely, hoppers or ballast cars were manufatured in large numbers.
One tried gradually to standardize one type and another. This is how the "Fcs 6451" was created. This type was built in large numbers in the mid 50's by amongst others the Deutsche Industrie-Werke (German Industrial Works) AG in Berlin-Spandau, Germany. Four examples of this type are still in servie today at the HSB (Harz Narrow Gauge Railroad). They are used as ballast containers (mounted on roll cars) and are used for track construction work. Loading then takes place at the Unterberg plant near Eisfelder Talmühle, Germany.
In similar fashion, over the years, thousands of Fcs hoppers have been placed into service throughout Europe. They were in service with almost all railroads in Europe. Even today there are still many Fcs hoppers in service. Fcs hoppers can be found on many narrow gauge railroads, on the HSB, the Fcs hoppers were often as guest. Both on roll cars and on the modern Vevey roll dollies (trucks)..
Model:
Much emphasis has been placed on accurate sale realization in model.
We have again constructed these hoppers accurately in 1:22.5 sale. The model is made of high quality plastic. The ars conform closely to the Spur II )64 mm) standards.
The model is equipped with stainless steel wheel rims. Ball bearing axles offer smooth operation. The buffers are sprung as well as the axles.
The model can be retrofitted with prototypical screw couplings (Boerman item no. 0006-0102).
The model is developed as a load for roll bogies/trucks (e.g. Boerman 0005-0201 and 0005-0301). So you can again fully experience the roll bogie traffic on your model layout. The matching roll bogie pit is available as Boerman item 0005-0001.
