Diese Lok wurde zwischen 1974 und 1976 in vier Versionen hergestellt; dann gab es noch die LGB 2080D mit Rauch von 1975 bis 1993 und die Version mit Sound, LGB 2080S zwischen 1974 und 1991.
Dies ist die vierte Version dieser Lok ohne Rauch.
Das Getriebe der Lok besteht bei dieser Lok noch aus 2 Halbschalen.
Diese Lok besitzt noch die erhabenen Lokschilder.
In spÃ¤teren Versionen wurden die Lokschilder nur noch aufgedruck.
1993 bekam die Lok die fÃ¼nf-stellige Produktnummer LGB 20801.

This locomotive was produced in four different versions between 1974 and 1976; there was also the LGB 2080D with smoke from 1975 to 19793 and the version with sound, LGB 2080S offered between 1974 and 1991.
This is the fourth version of this locomotivewithout smoke.
The gear box of this engine is still the one of the early ones consisting of two half sections.
This locomotive also still has the raised loco designation plates, on later versions they were just printed on the body.
In 1993, the five-digit product ID LGB 20801 was assigned.
