Allgemein bedienten Schmalspureisenbahnen eher kurze Strecken als Zubringer für die so genannten Hauptbahnen. Dafür reichten Tenderloks, die ihren Bedarf an Kohle und Wasser auf der Maschine mitführen konnten. Anders in den extrem dünn besiedelten Teilen Deutschlands, wo - wie in Mecklenburg oder Pommern - doch erhebliche Distanzen zu überwinden waren. Hier reichte dieser begrenzte Vorrat einfach nicht mehr aus. Ein extra Schlepptender wurde angehängt. Einem solchen Vorbild ist die LGB-Lok 99 2815 mit der Art.-Nr. 22150 nachempfunden.
Anläßlich des 125-Jahre-Jubiläums der Firma ERNST PAUL LEHMANN wird dieses Modell zu einem besonders attraktiven Preis angeboten. Zusätzlich zur Grundausstattung mit Licht in beiden Fahrtrichtungen läßt sich die Lok - je nach persönlichem Geschick und Bedarf - relativ leicht aufrüsten. Dies betrifft: Zweiter Motor (Art.-Nr. 62201), Rauchgenerator (Ersatzteil-Nr. 2010DB20) und Stromabnehmerkohlen (Art.-Nr. 63120). Selbstverständlich läßt sich das Modell digitalisieren. Dazu empfehlen wir den autorisierten Fachhandel oder direkt die Werkstatt von LGB. Da keine Schnittstelle vorhanden ist, werden doch umfangreichere technische Kenntnisse vorausgesetzt.

In general, narrow-gauge railways served short distances feeder lines for the so-called main lines. Tender locomotives, which could carry their coal and water requirements on the locomotive itself, were sufficient. The situation was different in the extremely sparsely populated parts of Germany, where - as in Mecklenburg or Pomerania - considerable distances had to be covered. Here this limited amount of coal and water was simply no longer sufficient. An extra tender was attached. The LGB locomotive 99 2815 with item number 22150 is based on such a prototype.
On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of ERNST PAUL LEHMANN, this model is offered at a particularly attractive price. In addition to the basic equipment with light in both directions, the locomotive can be upgraded relatively easily, depending on personal skill and requirements. This concerns: Second motor (LGB 62201), smoke generator (spare part LGB 2010DB20) and carbon brushes (LGB 63120). Of course the model can be digitized. For this upgrade we recommend an authorized dealer or to have it done directly at LGB. Since this locomotive does not include a digital interface, more extensive technical knowledge is required for this upgrade. |
