Die Rhätische Bahn ist vor allem für ihre Elloks berühmt, doch beschaffte die RhB für den Bau des Vereina-Tunnels diese zuverlässige und vielseitig einsetzbare Diesellok. Die 1958 von MaK gebaute Lok verkehrte auf verschiedenen Strecken, bevor sie 1989 zu RhB kam.
Das LGB-Modell ist so zuverlässig und vielseitig einsetzbar wie das Vorbild. Beide Drehgestelle sind mit Motoren ausgestattet, so daß die Lok extrem zugkräftig und kurvengängig ist. Im beleuchteten und detaillierten Führerstand steht eine Lokführerfigur am Bedienpult.
Erhältlich nur in der Schweiz und Nordamerika.
Switzerland’s Rhätische Bahn is famous for its sleek electric locos, but for the construction of the Vereina tunnel, the RhB acquired this rugged, versatile diesel. Built by MaK in 1958, it served on several lines until arriving at the RhB in 1989.
This LGB replica is just as rugged and versatile the original. Each truck has its own motor, providing plenty of power for maneuvering heavy loads in tight quarters. Cab lighting reveals the detailed interior and engineer figure.
